I just unloaded and loaded another bisque kiln this morning. I'll be glazing and glaze firing them hopefully this weekend, and posting them next week. I also joined a pottery group on facebook this morning, http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Pottery/111956652150198 which looks like a great way for potters and pottery lovers to connect. In Other News
Not much to do with pottery, but being a nature lover I thought this deserved a post. Some pictures from my Mama's garden. Some beautiful tomatoes and a single jalapeno (my favorite).

Need Sleep
Woke up bright and early this morning to get some pieces trimmed. I just didn't have the motivation to do any of it last night, although now I really wish I had. One thing I will say about trimming while your tired is that it bumps up the possiblity that you'll destroy something of importance, i.e. a beautiful berry bowl. Anyway, my other pieces that DID survive are looking good. I'll update with some pictures of "pieces in progress" soon.
